    The Everett Animal Shelter provides sheltering services to the City of Everett and surrounding jurisdictions, as well as Animal Control Services to the City of Everett. EAS is an open admission shelter, has a staff of 14 and takes in approximately 5600 animals per year. The shelter's mission is to provide for the well-being of the animals and the community through progressive animal sheltering, education, and municipal code enforcement.
