    The Mission of the MCRCD is to conserve, protect, and restore wild and working landscapes to enhance the health of the water, soil, and forests in Mendocino County. We are a Special District of California formed in 1945 formed to serve landowners with conservation issues on their land in the areas of watershed restoration and enhancement, fish passage, farm and soils support, water conservation, forest health projects and land stewardship.
