The U.S. FDA/ Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) is the newest FDA center; stood up in 2009. Since that time, we have grown to slightly over 1000 employees. CTP regulates the manufacture, marketing, and distribution of tobacco products to protect public health and to reduce tobacco use. This includes electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) such as electronic cigarettes.
