Energy Tech High School

  • About Us

Energy Tech High School is an innovative program that affords students the opportunity to take college coursework and engage in rigorous career-ready activities and experiences while still in high school.

Students at ETHS can stay in high school for up to six years to earn not only a NYS Regents diploma but also an associate degree in an engineering technology pathway free of cost, as well as a broad range of industry readiness skills and credentials.

Our unique school model is a collaboration between the New York City Department of Education, the City University of New York, the Early College Initiative, LaGuardia Community College, Con Edison, and National Grid. Students graduate from our program well-positioned for a range of in-demand STEM careers in the local energy/utility industry or as strong candidates for four-year colleges.
