Part Time Preschool Teacher Assistant

We are seeking a joyful teaching assistant to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year, starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate with have a genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds.

Duties

1. Support the Lead Teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional and cognitive development of young children.
2. Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
3. Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues through effective communication.
4. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and classroom activities.

Experience

1. Preferred 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
2. Basic knowledge of early childhood development.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
4. Experience in classroom management techniques to create a structured and joyful environment.

Schedule:

1. 5 hour shift from 8:30am to 1pm

• Monday to Friday (flexible work days)
