PURPOSE: This position is responsible for supporting the Senior Digital Program Manager and will help staff breakthrough campaigns, create digital content and build a strong national digital presence.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Any one position may not include all of the specific duties and responsibilities listed. Performs a wide range of duties as assigned by the International Union, including but not limited to the following:
CONTACTS: Interacts with SEIU and affiliate staff and council officials and representatives, consultants, outside organizations, writers, and others.
DIRECTION AND DECISION MAKING: This position reports to the Senior Digital Program Manager and works with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or related field and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience; or, a combination of education and experience that would provide for the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is generally performed in an office setting, but travel on a fairly regular basis may be required. Some work will be conducted on the ground. Long and extended hours
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Thirty-six (36) weeks.
