    Description

    12pm-5pm or 1pm-5pm Monday Through Friday

    This Position runs from September 8th to June 18th

    The Afternoon Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing learning

    environment for children, assisting with afternoon enrichment program and activities,

    supervising children during playtime, mealtime, outdoors, and maintaining a clean and

    organized classroom.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervising children during rest time, playtime, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring

    safety and appropriate interactions.

    • Assisting with diaper changing (if needed), toileting, and hand washing routines
    • Helping children with mealtime supervision
    • Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
    • Following classroom rules and procedures to ensure children's safety
    • Managing classroom behavior and redirecting children as needed
    • Maintaining open communication with the director, other staff, and parents
    • Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
    • Working with the Director of Enrichment program to help execute the activities
