About Us

From its home at the historic Muckenthaler Mansion (on the National Registry of Historic Places), The Muck commits to the mission of providing the community with experiences that stimulate creativity and imagination. Through programs in correctional facilities, homeless shelters, transitional housing units, public libraries, youth centers and more than 50 public schools, as well as music, ceramics, fine arts, photography and other classes on its premises, and its Summer Arts camp for children on the Autism spectrum, the Muck programs more than 6000 annual hours of classes on close to 50 sites, for close to 50,000 people.
