About Us
Founded on a critical, youth-centered pedagogy the Sunshine Cultural Arts Center's mission is to support revitalization efforts in East St. Louis through culturally informed art, music and spoken word programming, after school academic supports, anti-violence/gang initiatives and safe space resources. We view revitalization through a collective impact lens that promotes collaboration and cooperation as a means to achieve lasting change and growth for the region.
