Central Gardens Middle School

About Us

Central Gardens is a public charter school. The original idea behind charters was to make space for innovation and to serve students who weren’t thriving under traditional approaches. That’s where we’re coming from. We aren’t a national chain. We aren’t for-profit. Central Gardens is 100% locally grown and centered on our children’s futures, our community and our place in a changing world. For us, wanting the best for our community means working to see that all of our youth can find their place to grow.

Central Gardens Middle School will be a school where youth are supported, engaged, and inspired to learn for the mutual benefit of self and society. We will serve as a state and national example of what 21st century education can and must create: a thriving community that will sustain future generations in the 21st century and beyond.
