Rye Youth Council is a nonprofit youth development organization that supports the social and emotional health and mental well-being of children, teens and young adults in our community.

Social and emotional life skills help people find balance and focus, excel through transitions, and become strong, independent, and resilient individuals. Social and emotional well-being and learning these life skills are essential to a happy and healthy life.

The RYC provides Rye’s youth with the opportunity to participate in our programming, support program ideation, and help bring their ideas for programming and community action to fruition. Some of our most successful programs were created by the youth themselves! At the Rye Youth Council, we pride ourselves as a resource to provide experiential learning opportunities to youth and guide them as they grow through each experience.
