The Write of Your L!fe™ – the flagship initiative from Women Wonder Writers – is a 12-week program with a mission to boost student academic success and social safety in breaking the cycle of victimization and abuse through Social Emotional Learning, writing, arts and hands-on intervention programs.
We bring this program to schools and other facilities in California and beyond to effect long-term positive change on the individual level.
It is our vision to strengthen youth, their families, and the community we serve by:
Teaching youth the tools and skills to manage adversity and challenges at school, with peers, and at home
Empowering youth to take charge of their academic and personal success
Increasing student graduation rates to boost life options and decrease cyclical crime & victimization
Building tolerance, empathy, respectful expression, and personal resilience
Establishing a foundation for students to say no to negativity and to say yes to working on a positive future
