FLAP has been advocating on behalf of landscapers, migrant and seasonal workers in Illinois since 1999.
The mission of the Farmworker and Landscaper Advocacy Project
(FLAP), Ayuda para Trabajadores, is to improve working conditions
for migrant and seasonal workers, including low-income farmworkers, landscapers, snow plowing workers,
packinghouse workers, cannery workers, and meat and poultry workers and their families in Illinois.
FLAP carries out this mission through outreach, litigation, community legal education, community education, referrals and partnering with other organizations to fight human labor trafficking”.
