Midwest Food Alliance is dedicated to promoting the expanded use of sustainable farming systems, and educating consumers about the benefits of sustainable agriculture to increase purchases of sustainably-produced foods. We are a coalition of consumers, scientists, grocers and processors working together to ensure that your children and grandchildren have "Good Food for a Healthy Future".

Following principles of environmental and social responsibility, our job is to make the connection between farmers who use earth-friendly practices and shoppers like you who believe that's important. We believe that sustainable agriculture represents a long-term approach for farmers. We encourage practices that: -build the health of the soil and prevent erosion -reduce or eliminate the use of chemicals and pesticides -eliminate hormones and antibiotics in livestock -work for the health and well-being of farm workers and rural communities
