    The Home Depot Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2002 to further the community building goals of The Home Depot by providing additional resources to assist nonprofit organizations.

    Affordable housing for deserving families is at the heart of The Home Depot Foundation’s mission. Since 2002, The Home Depot Foundation has invested more than $340 million in local communities to build and renovate homes for deserving families; transform local parks and playgrounds; and repair community facilities.

    The Home Depot Foundation has committed $80 million over five years to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the homes of economically disadvantaged veterans.
