Scrutineers

Scrutineers’ is a national, nonpartisan, online election protection organization focused on election transparency and security. We train, mobilize, and support people to provide public oversight for our elections. We advocate for best practices in election administration. Our work to provide safeguards for the votes after they’re cast complements the work of groups that protect the freedom to cast a vote.

At Scrutineers, we believe that if the US is going to continue to use vulnerable software-based systems to count our votes, vote counts must be double-checked. We teach individuals and groups how to participate in verifying vote counts in ways that support and strengthen the work of election staff.
