Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden

Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden is an independent institution in Luang Prabang, Laos that opened to the public in 2017. It is the only Botanical Garden in Laos, with extensive connections to international institutions as well as a member of BGCI. We have good working relationships with national and local government as well as local NGOs. Pha Tad Ke is a non-profit organisation supported by the Friends of Pha Tad Ke Associations in France, the Netherlands and Laos as well as the Luang Prabang Fund for Culture and Conservation, an American non-profit 501(c)(3) Foundation.

It benefits from international tourist visitors to generate income to sustain itself, organize educational actions and research to help the local population to raise their ecological awareness and put in place the necessary measures to preserve the bio-diversity of Laos and develop sustainable tools of agro-economic development.
