About Us
The mission of the Little Sisters Fund is to help economically disadvantaged Nepalese girls to become empowered leaders through education, mentoring, and community support. Founded in 1998, the Little Sisters Fund began with a single scholarship for one “Little Sister.” Over the past 18 years, the Fund has grown to support more than 2,200 girls in 20 districts of Nepal. Committed to scaling not only in breadth, but also in depth, the Little Sisters Fund has strengthened its support over the years and now partners with girls, families and communities through 10 interlocking programs that tackle multiple dimensions of poverty and injustice.
