Metta Center for Nonviolence Education

The Metta Center for Nonviolence Education (metta means loving-kindness) serves as a resource for individuals and communities around the world who wish to deal with violence in their culture using the integrative power of nonviolence. Metta Center is a nonprofit organization focused on exploring the potential of nonviolence principles in addressing individual, societal and global needs. Through our partners and programs, we are helping to bring about a paradigm shift toward peace, justice and healing in our relationships, communities and society as a whole. The Metta Center works to:

• Inspire people to seek creative alternatives to violence,
• Provide Resources to groups and individuals in the theory and practice of nonviolence, and
• Apply nonviolence toward building a society that is safe, empowered and loving to all.
