The mission of the American Discovery Trail Society is to create, manage and promote our nation's first coast-to-coast, non-motorized recreational trail. It shall connect people to large cities, small towns and urban areas and to mountains, forest, natural areas and heritage sites by incorporating local, regional and national trails.
