Fund Development for Nonprofits Certificate (PROED-800)

Learn the key concepts and core strategies to raise money for your organization. Nonprofit organizations rely on the philanthropy of individuals, corporations, and foundations, as well as government funding. The success and sustainability of these organizations is contingent on people with a sound grasp of how to consistently identify and develop funding prospects. The core strategy of this certificate program is a commitment to ethical fundraising and enhancing professionalism among those engaged in the nonprofit sector whether as a staff member, board member or volunteer. In these interactive classes, key concepts are demonstrated using examples provided by the instructors. Participants will practice what they have learned by developing and applying strategies to their own circumstances. Participants will also learn from each other and build relationships that are an essential part of successful fundraising endeavors. This course enrolls the students in all courses to fullfill the requirements to gain the Fund Development for Nonprofits Certificate.
