Envision Cascadia

Envision Cascadia (EC) seeks to build connections between and within communities of the Pacific Northwest in the context of local ecosystems. The EC project is based on the understanding that only through working to re-align our individual actions with community aspirations, and community values with local ecosystem realities will we be able to live sustainably and peacefully in our places. EC seeks to provide a means for those active in local re-inhabitiation to share ideas and refine processes.

The Envision Cascadia website project provides a means for the populous of the Pacific Northwest to locate and utilize local and environmentally sustainable options when making purchases. The EC project also includes listings of volunteer opportunities, public transport, local currencies, community centers, homeless resources, and eco-travel opportunities. In addition, an educational element integral to the website helps users to better understand the region's culture and ecology.
