TYKE Foundation

TYKE Foundation is a Leesburg, VA non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2015 to assist in preparing our youth for careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) .  Data from the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that STEM related occupations are projected to grow to more than 9 million between 2012 and 2022.  In order to meet these critical job demands, TYKE Foundation realizes that all youth, particularly those in underserved communities must be afforded the opportunities to access  STEM learning enrichment systems coupled with realistic possibilities charting pathways to STEM careers at the very beginning of learning.   We also believe that all children regardless of socioeconomic status must be afforded the opportunity and the provisions to participate in post-high school education.  Once enriched with these needs, we believe that children will excel to the skill levels needed to stem the tide of STEM occupation shortfalls. In a world where economic success is increasingly dependent on STEM literacy, people with little experience or confidence in STEM professions often find themselves left out of a large segment of the job market and ultimately 21st Century roads to success.TYKE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established to stoke the passion of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) disciplines in our youth at the very beginning of learning.
