    The Urban Park Rangers are New York City's official environmental educators and park stewards! Conducting school (The Natural Classroom), after-school (Ranger Conservation Corps), and weekend (Explorer) programs, the Rangers encourage active use of New York City's green spaces via interactive education and recreation. The Rangers educate New Yorkers and visitors of all ages on the environmental and cultural history of New York City parks as well as provide them with opportunities to engage in outdoor recreation (canoeing, biking, orienteering, bouldering, hiking, etc.) right here in the City.
