Alnoor Foundation

Located in the mountains of Northen Lebanon lies a village that has been overlooked by time. The Alnoor Foundation stands to change all that. Translated into English, Alnoor means “Light”. It is that word that reminds us of our objective, to provide light and hope for the future of the village of Denbo. Alnoor understands that the bulb needed to provide that light is education. Its been said before, “Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime”, and that statement holds true. The Alnoor school that is sponsored by the foundation stands to educate, and support the many village children that would otherwise remain overlooked. Education is the only chance the community has in improving its condition. A future of leaders that are taught by virtue, and morale will indeed place Denbo in a better position then its been in years. By assisting Alnoor Foundation you can be part of the light that will help a village propel itself out of its repressive ways and hopefully inspire the country of Lebanon to achieve prosperity.

It is our desire to lift up those who are oppressed or ignored and give them opportunities for education, growth and fulfillment, those are the desires we all share. We are dedicated to making the world a better place for all of those who only know of hardship. It is our hope that we can serve hundreds ofchildren and families in needby giving them hope and opportunities.
