Episcopal Diocese of Chicago

  • About Us

The Diocese of Chicago is one of 111 domestic and overseas dioceses comprising the Episcopal Church. Our diocese, a collection of 127 congregations and fellowships in Northern Illinois, is lead by the Right Rev. Jeffrey D. Lee, Bishop of Chicago. The diocesan office serves as a headquarters and resource center for Episcopal churches throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Our goals are to grow the church, form the faithful, and serve God's world in a way that is consistent with our Episcopal Christian values.
