About Us

Hello I am Rev.Laud Akuffo the Founder and Co-Director of The Anidaso Nsae Foundation (TANF). Our Foundation aims to fight poverty through education and health care for orphans and abounded children on the streets in Ghana. I would like to give you a short introduction to my Foundation,(TANF) and what we do here in Ghana. The two areas we focus our work on is Education and Health care for children in need (these are often orphans or street children).

Our aim is to provide impoverished and orphaned children with an education. We mainly do this by sponsoring some of the neediest children.

We hope that by doing so we are offering them an education they would otherwise not have the chance to receive and thus we are giving them the key to success and a brighter future. By giving them an education they will be able to get a better job which will not only help themselves, but their entire family and community. With the knowledge they have gained they will be able to help their community to find solutions to conflicts and educate their friends and family.

Another area we focus on is Health. We are hoping to provide the local hospitals and Health Centres with equipment and help some of the neediest and deprived patience gain access to health care which can be very costly. We would also like to provide all the children we sponsor with a basic Health Care to prevent them of falling sick of some easily preventable illnesses and diseases.

We also receive volunteers to help us in accomplishing our aims. Volunteers provide a great resource to us as they are able to come with their skills that they have acquired at home and put them into practice here. We are sure that any expertise or experiences you have will be able to help someone here in Ghana. Thus we receive volunteers from any background, age, gender and with any skills – we are sure we will find something fun, helpful and rewarding for you to do. Not only are we hoping for the support of volunteers that come out here to Ghana, but you can also help from home (e.g. providing us with suggestions, fundraising ideas, organising fundraising events at home, helping us with the betterment of our website, advertising, finding organisations to partner with etc.). The main activities for Volunteers that come to Ghana are as teachers and helping in the medical sector (working alongside doctors and nurses in local hospitals and health centres).

So if you are interested in helping us than you will find an application form and lots more information on our website www.tanfghana.org. or cand send us Email and we will get to you as soon as possible @ tanfghana@gmail.com

We look forward to getting in touch with you and to see how you can help so many needy people in our Community.
