  • About Us

    The Menlo Park Library founded its adult literacy program in 1985. The mission is to

    enable adults and families to improve their basic literacy skills so they can achieve their

    goals and function more effectively at home, at work, in the community, and as lifelong

    learners. Project Read-Menlo Park has helped develop the literacy skills of over 2600

    learners with the involvement of more than 1400 volunteers. Currently, Project Read is

    running three different but related programs:

    • One-to-One Tutoring

    • English Classes

    • Computer Assisted Learning
