About Us
Half The Sky Public Education is a collective committed to equipping and empowering women, especially vulnerable women, in China.
We partner with government bodies, private companies and non-governmental organizations to launch strategic, multi-platform media campaigns.
Our goal is to prevent exploitation by giving women information about human trafficking, domestic abuse, sexual violence and labour rights. We also work to change public perceptions and attitudes towards women.
This year, we are partnering with Tencent QQ mobile web, the largest mobile web portal in China, to launch a mobile web campaign for female factory workers.
We are also launching television public service advertisements, working with print media, bloggers and QQ.com, the most-accessed information website in China.
