    BooksFirst! Chicago is an all volunteer collective of Chicago area families who receive donated children's books and then deliver them to Chicago public schools with no libraries, 90% plus low income students and 20% plus homeless students. Since our founding in 2012, we have collected and delivered over 30,000 children's books and delivered them to 11 Chicago Public Schools, using only volunteers and our own time and homes.
