The Employee Rights Advocacy Institute For Law & Policy
The Employee Rights Advocacy Institute For Law & Policy ("The Institute") is a nonprofit charitable and educational organization. Its mission is to advocate for employee rights by advancing equality and justice in the American workplace. The Institute utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach and a combination of innovative legal strategies, policy development, grassroots advocacy, and public education. The Institute was founded in 2008 by the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the country’s largest professional organization that is exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent employees in cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, employee benefits, illegal workplace harassment and retaliation, as well as other employment-related matters. Working hand-in-hand, The Institute and NELA reach broadly—engaging advocates, organizations, coalitions, legislators, academics, agency officials, media, and the public—to create a more just workplace.
