  • About Us

What I’m Made Of is a documentary film project about being a teenager, becoming an adult, and coming to terms with gender identity. It follows several trans, genderqueer, or gender questioning teenagers as they transition socially and medically. By telling personal stories, What I’m Made Of hopes to increase understanding of the issues facing trans people, provide resources for trans communities and their allies, and advance social justice. At the same time, it aims to challenge deeply held beliefs about what defines male and female in our society.
