Cameroon Football Development Program

Our mission is to provide leadership, life skills and health education to youth on the soccer field. Transforming the pitch into a classroom creates an environment for experiential education where youth are encouraged to learn and grow. Soccer holds a unique place within Cameroonian culture; the nation loves the game. Our approach is guided by other successful sport-for-development organizations, our big brothers and sisters, as this model has been proven to retain high youth participation and effect meaningful community-wide change.

We infuse focused discussions and skill-building activities into THE BEAUTIFUL GAME to achieve the following objectives:

• Promote self-reliance with leadership and life skills training
• Empower girls and young women
• Prevent transmission of HIV and reduce stigmatization of persons living with HIV/AIDS
• Increase the accessibility of professional skills development for economic empowerment
