U.S. Justice Action Network

  • About Us

Our focused effort will develop and implement specific campaign strategies in targeted states and Congress to raise awareness about the problems in our criminal justice system and advocate for the strongest possible reforms. Here’s what needs to be done:

    • Enact data-driven sentencing policies to address incarceration and associated costs
    • Reform criminal codes to end the systemic problems of overcriminalization and narrow the net of incarceration
    • Increase public safety through policies to expand effective rehabilitation programs
    • Reduce recidivism by breaking down barriers faced by those returning home after detention or incarceration
    • Ensure prompt and fair outcomes for both the accused and the victim
