About Us

The Greater Boston Chapter of NAWMBA (National Association of Women MBAs) was formed to provide a supportive network to women with Masters Degrees in Business Administration (MBA) in the Boston region.

The mission of the Boston Chapter is to empower women MBAs in to order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation’s workforce, through professional development, educational events, collaboration, and community service in the Boston region.

To accomplish its mission, the institutional objective of the Boston Chapter Board of Directors is to provide a valuable channel for MBA alumni and like minded individuals in the Boston region by planning and executing periodic events. The Boston Chapter Board of Directors shall conduct these activities in a manner that improves the participation of women MBAs, provides a personally and professionally development for members, fosters a sense of community among area alumni, and enables identification with the Boston Chapter network.


Any person meeting one or more of the following qualifications shall be eligible for membership of this organization:

i) Any person who has received a graduate business degree. Examples include, but are not limited to, Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Masters of International Management (MIM), and Masters of Financial Engineering (MFE).

ii) Any person who has business experience

iii) Any person who relates to the mission of the organization.

Members shall pay annual membership dues in an amount determined appropriate annually by the National Board of Directors. Currently, the dues are $75 annually. Follow this link to join and remember to select the Boston Chapter:
