Terra Segura International

Terra Segura International (TSI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated exclusively to improving mineclearing methods, systems, and policies. We have developed a comprehensive system of realistic and cost-effective programs aimed at increasing the speed and safety of mineclearing, while reducing costs. We are dedicated to:

• Developing technology to fit the problem.
• Developing technology that is easy and profitable to use in developing countries.
• Empowering local populations to take the lead in addressing their mine problems.
• Training and coordinating village-based teams of indigenous de-miners.
• Stimulating the growth of markets for de-mining products and services.
• Changing the role of international programs from "rescuer" to "partner."
