Equality Maryland, Inc.

The mission of Equality Maryland is to make life better for LGBT Marylanders and their families by eliminating prejudice and discrimination based on gender identity or expression and sexual orientation. We work to change hearts and minds through education and outreach. We lobby in Annapolis and throughout the state to enact policies that will provide equal treatment under the law. We work to elect fair minded candidates who will stand up for our families. As members of the national LGBT community strategize on where we go next in our fight for equality, many eyes are on Maryland. We are truly on the cusp of enacting broad and sweeping changes.
