Prevention Access Campaign
About Us
In 2016, Prevention Access Campaign activists and researchers launched the award-winning U=U campaign to clarify and disseminate the groundswell of evidence confirming that a person living with HIV on treatment with an undetectable viral load cannot transmit HIV, or, in other words Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U). U=U has expanded rapidly into a global movement that is transforming lives and the field.
U=U is an unprecedented opportunity to dismantle HIV stigma; improve the lives of people with HIV; increase treatment access, uptake, and retention in care; and bring us closer to ending the epidemic. However, millions of people living with HIV do not know U=U, especially those already marginalized by broken healthcare systems and structural inequalities. U=U is grounded in the conviction that all people living with HIV have a right to accurate and meaningful information about their social, sexual, and reproductive health.
Prevention Access Campaign is fiscally sponsored by Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs.
