Youth Opportunities

Youth Opportunities is a nonprofit, community-based agency dedicated to providing a range of services to children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Youth Opportunities offers an increasingly integrated and comprehensive system of services for children, adolescents, and families.

Youth Opportunities is committed to building better futures for young people by providing opportunities they need to lead responsible and fulfilling lives, with particular concern for those whose behavior or family circumstances threaten their ability to develop successfully. We emphasize providing safe and structured care; strengthening the capacity of parents and caregivers to provide appropriate security, nurturing and direction; and, teaching young people and families skills that can enhance their lives.

Since 1970, YO has been providing services to children and their families mainly through its residential based facilities. Since the start of the 21st Century, YO has expanded to include a broad range of services for children from pre-k to 18 years of age and their families. Programs and services include Day Treatment, Intensive In-Home, Outpatient Therapy, Evidence Based Practices, Mental-Health Assessments, Psychiatric Consultation and Medication Management.

Our Behavioral Support Counselors, Therapists, and administrative staff provide strong commitment, creativity, and experience.
