Our vision is to inspire a generation to be all that they can be; to awaken a sense of life-purpose and belonging, and unite them as part of a global community who can work together to rise to the challenges of the world we live in.

Our Unique Commitment

Care for achild is guided by a unique commitment to its volunteers and to its communities. To the Volunteer it offers safe, responsible travel experiences, exceptional training and career development opportunities, and facilitates the ability to make a real difference. To the local community it commits all project ownership rights and all work is undertaken fully under their direction. Care for a child is a non-political, non-religious organization.

Care for a child offers educational and life-changing programs for individuals, families, grown-ups and students ages 15-23 and school groups.

Care for a child volunteers come from a range of different backgrounds and from all over the world.

Care for a child's aim is to offer the volunteers the necessary assistance required to achieve their goals in volunteering abroad.

Care for a Child in Uganda has been chosen to work alongside some of the neediest communities in the country, including Kampala, wakiso and rural areas. Facing the Challenges

As a charity, we work hard to make our adventures the best possible experience for the volunteers and the local communities. In this role, we act as a catalyst for change, bringing local villages together, sometimes for the first time as one team and giving them the resources and motivation to achieve sustainable development.
