    Mission of Fundación Pro-Bosque

    Fundación Pro-Bosque is a private organization with extensive experience in the management of protected areas, with an emphasis on programs of reforestation, agro forestry, research, environmental education and eco-tourism. Its mission is to support the conservation of the biodiversity of the Ecuadorian coastal tropical dry forests through effective management and international cooperation.

    Objectives of Bosque Protector Cerro Blanco

    To protect and rehabilitate a part of the important tropical dry forests of Ecuador, to promote understanding, appreciation, and to provide enjoyment for the public, so that the forests are not destroyed but safeguarded for present and future generations of Ecuadorians and international visitors.
