  • About Us

The Organisation for Child Support works with the underprivileged in Mbale District, Eastern Uganda. It supports primary and senior school students in paying school fees so they may continue their formal education. The Organisation not only provides financial support but equally support in kind such as books, uniforms and soap as the general welfare of the child is our main concern. Through our country coordinator/Community Health worker we monitor and counsel these students as well as ensure that they are well cared for within their homes and receive the appropriate medical attention. We are also undertaking valuable sensitisation programmes on HIV/AIDS and basic hygiene and contraception. OCS has recently developped a project for entrepreneurship development for empoverished Ugandans.
