Bay Area Crisis Nursery

  • About Us

The Bay Area Crisis Nursery (BACN) is a small nonprofit located in the East Bay. For 40 years, we have provided a safe place for children to stay while their families are experiencing a crisis. Our families are struggling with homelessness, domestic violence, mental and physical health issues, stress, and living in poverty. This past year, we responded to the pandemic by opening a food and diaper pantry and expanding our program to offer 60 days of free emergency childcare. We provide essential safety net services for children ages 0-5 and their families.
