About Us

The University of Cincinnati has partnered with AmeriCorps at NEOMED to develop Health Professions Affinity Community (HPAC) Specialists for the 2016-17 academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity for college students, graduates taking a gap year before applying to professional school, and others seeking to make a difference in their community. AmeriCorps members serve students ranging from middle school through early college years. They manage and/or create HPAC programs with designated schools and community organizations and follow the IDEAS model: I identify a health concern in your community; D design a program/project to bring awareness to the health concern; E enact a program within the community; A assess the effectiveness of your project; S share the results of your project at NEOMED during Scholar's Day. Interested Applicants should send their cover letter and resume to Samantha McKenzie: Samantha.Mckenzie@uc.edu
