Teacher Training

Founded in 2004, MCI Denver offers instruction for teachers in the Montessori Method. The Montessori system of education, a unique child-centred approach, places emphasis on educating the whole child, covering all aspects of development – intellectual, social, physical, emotional and spiritual. We aim to provide our students with the knowledge, experience, practical training and qualifications they will need to become Montessori educators.Our Early Childhood Teaching Diploma Course is accredited by MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education).We are a Title IV school, providing eligible students with Federal grants and loans.

Preschool

MCI has recently expanded operations to include an original Montessori preschool, serving children between the ages of 2.5 - 6 years old.

We will fight to preserve the rights of each child to be protected from undue pressure and to make learning a fun and lifelong experience. We believe that:

• Education of children can elevate society
• The laws of development of the child are universal and inherent in children of all races and cultures.
• Montessori education fosters awareness in the child of connectedness to all humanity and encourages his or her natural desire to become a contributing member of the human family.
• A three year age mix in all classrooms allows for individual and social development.
