Humanities Washington is a private, nonprofit organization that uses reading, writing, lecture, and exhibit programs to spark conversations and critical thinking throughout Washington State in order to nurture more informed and engaged communities. Humanities Washington plays a critical role in addressing an immediate and growing crisis in our state concerning education, community identity and understanding, and our ability to work together to shape our future. The goal of our work is to create a deeper understanding of who we are and the experiences that connect us. For further information, please visit www.humanities.org.
