HaitiCorps International

The mission of HaitiCorps is to harness the transformational power of national service in order to strengthen the Haitian workforce and facilitate recovery and development for a more vibrant, prosperous Haiti. HaitiCorps fulfills this mission through partnerships and coordination with Haitian government ministries, non-profit organizations, and private industry to 1) offer a pool of qualified Haitian workers to fill positions in organizations committed to fair wages and human rights, 2) provide short-term service opportunities for Haitian Diaspora and other internationals who can bring specific expertise to Haitian-led projects, and 3) provide long-term training and service opportunities for Haitian nationals to serve their country and enhance their competitiveness in the marketplace.
