About Us

Our Mission is.... to support vulnerable people from infancy to late adulthood to develop themselves, others and to become people with good principles and values

Our Vision is...... to teach poor, orphaned, HIV/AIDS affected and vulnerable people the skills to be self-supportive and self-sustainable. Our Areas of Intervening...

Tshega's aim is to support vulnerable families in the five human basic needs. Physical Needs: Food, clothes, hygiene support and physical education. Social Needs: Social events and extra mural activities. Emotional Needs: Counselling and prayer support. Mental Needs: Education. Spiritual Needs: House visits and encouragement when in need. Each of our projects were founded with the aim to enrich the lives of people in impoverised communities by providing them with experiences which will enable them to succeed in life and make a lasting and meaningful difference in their lives.It is our Mission to be a moral and positive example in social services, providing a holistic, well balanced, dynamic service to all our beneficiaries in preparation for their effective functioning in a multi- cultural society.At Tshega Christian Missions our Aims are as follow and we strive to accomplish all eight Millenium Development Goals.

Tshega Christian Mission strives to empower families and children with resources and information needed to promote LIFE LIVING skills. For families and their children to become economically productive members of society and to build increase knowledge about barriers and struggles in rural areas therefore facilitate in the ability to provide community and community and children with compassionate care and support.

Consevation/ Enviromental Partnership program.

New to our program is our Partnership program - Conservation of Butterflies, the Samango primates as well as the Cape Parrot and the Narina Trojan and several more birds. This takes place on a farm in the wonderful scenic Magoebaskloof with Tzaneen and Haenertsburg being the towns closest to the project. The Samango primates as well as the birds and butterflies that is featured in our program is on the Endangered Species list. Studies will be made as well as the establishment of a nursery to grow the host plants that is needed for the success of this program. There is also a pre-school that needs your help in this program where you will assist in helping the local tribe`s kids. We have excellent weekend excursions for our volunteers - Kruger National park,the popular Panorama Route, interactions with lion cubs, scenic adventures and much much more... Hope to see you soon!
