    The Literacy Council of Reading-Berks is a volunteer, non-profit organization that teaches reading, writing, oral and auditory English skills, and their applications in daily living, to the English and non-English speaking adult population of Berks County, through one-on-one tutoring, conversation classes, computer-assisted learning, and workplace essential skills training. Our goal is to help adults improve their roles as parents, workers, and community members.
