WVS is a forum for activists and animal lovers to join together to promote cruelty-free living through education and action. We advocate veganism as a lifestyle, not just a diet. To us, being vegan is an expression of our love for animals, the environment and our bodies.

Being vegan in a non-vegan world isn't always easy- but it sure helps to know you're not alone! We make sure to get together at least monthly for a pot-luck lunch or trip to a local restaurant. It's a chance to socialize, network, eat yummy vegan food, swap recipes, and get some moral support when you need it.

While most of our members are vegan, we welcome just about everyone at our events. So if you're thinking of going vegan but don't know where to start, if you know and love a vegan, or if you're just interested in something we have going on, we'd love to meet you.
